Jan. & Feb. - (No Meeting)
Mar. 24th- (Thursday) “Show & Tell”- Bring your historical artifacts or collectables in for everyone to see.
April 28th – (Thursday) Mills- Learn about the types, uses, & construction of mills and their impact on our local history.
May 26th – (Thursday) Old Cemeteries- a discussion of local burial grounds and the lives of the people who rest in our local graveyards.
June 17th- (Friday) Growing up in Kingwood- Come & Share your memories of what it was like to grow up in Kingwood. (This meeting will be held at the Kingwood Park at 6:30PM along with a covered dish picnic.)
July & August- (No Meetings)
Sept.29th-(Thursday) Indians- Learn about what life was like for the Lenni-Lanape and their ancestors.
Oct. 27th- (Thursday) Traditions of Kingwood- Share your stories of local “haunted” houses, legends, and folklore.
Nov. - (No Meeting)
Dec.1st-(Thursday) Durham Boats- a discussion of the importance of Durham Boats to our local history, not only during the Revolution, but for our local economy & transportation as well.
All Meetings are held at 7:30pm at the Old Fairview School, #12 Fairview Road in Kingwood Township.. (Except for the June meeting- See above)
