Horseshoe Bend Park Community Garden Work Day
There seems to be some interest in a community garden at Horseshoe Bend Park.   In order to enclose an area with fencing, we need to disassemble and then reassemble a 300 foot section of fence for the back side of the garden area.  Please join us on Saturday, April 14, 2012 at 8:30am.  We can meet at the end of the Spring Hill Road entrance to Horseshoe Bend Park and start pulling fence staples!

This is a task that will take little strength, but some time - removing fence staples. We will remove the posts with a tractor. The new post holes will be dug with a post hole digger on a tractor - but the fence staples need to be hammered back in.

I would recommend gloves, a claw hammer, and something to drink.  Contact garden@kingwoodtownship.com with any questions.
