Kingwood / Milford Borough Municipal Court Sessions are being still being held virtually. However, in certain circumstances, an in-person appearance is granted by request.
Court sessions are held the 3rd Thursday of every month.

How do I pay my ticket / complaint or current payment plan?
You can also mail a check or money order to the court or drop your payment off in the Municipal Court drop box located right outside the Kingwood Township Court Office.

I have a minor motor vehicle violation and I’d like to plead not guilty and speak to the Municipal Prosecutor?
Simply log on to njmcdirect.com and enter your ticket information and click "Dispute this Case" to proceed. However, if your violation is not listed, please email the court for further assistance to be scheduled for a virtual court session.
I’d like a certified disposition of a case that was held in this court.
Go to njcourts.gov and click on the “Self-help Center”. Follow the instructions. Kingwood Court code is: 1016, Milford Court code is: 1030.
I’d like to file a private citizen complaint.
Email and request the paperwork to file a complaint. Take note that you will need the person’s full address and the statute or ordinance you’d like to charge them with.
Once you complete that form, it will be reviewed by the Judge to determine probable cause to issue a formal complaint. You will be notified of that decision by email or regular mail.
